SO MUCH MORE THAN A CROWN.
More Than a Crown
While we’ll always love a sparkly crown, there’s something far more meaningful at the heart of pageantry. At Miss Southern Florida, More Than a Crown is what sets us apart. It’s not just about the sash, the crown, or the trophies—it’s about purpose, passion, and making a lasting impact.
Each Teen Miss and Miss contestant will choose a cause close to her heart—whether it’s mental health awareness, bullying prevention, cancer support, or another issue—and advocate for it throughout her reign.
Our mission is simple: to empower young women to use their voices, stand for something bigger than themselves, and leave a legacy that truly makes a difference.
Because here, it’s always been more than just a crown.
Little Miss Southern Florida, Ryver Stephen.
Our sweet Ryver will soon be passing on her title as she takes on a new role as Little Miss Florida USA!
Over the past month, Ryver has used her crown for a greater purpose—advocating for child abuse awareness by partnering with Kada’s Promise. She’s been collecting teddy bears to comfort abused children, which she’ll be handing out at a special back-to-school event.
We couldn’t be more proud of Ryver for showing us all what it truly means to make it more than just a crown.
